At times in life, often during a time of transition, we can get caught in difficult feelings or situations resulting in symptoms of unhappiness – such as stress, depression, fatigue or anxiety.
Symptoms exist for a purpose, pointing towards deeper suffering which is calling for attention and understanding. Suffering is difficult to bear yet it is often through being with what is unbearable that something new can emerge, bringing with it change.
During the lives we lead and in adapting to familial and societal expectations, our deeper inner knowing can become forgotten. Through rediscovering and integrating lost and vulnerable parts of self, it is possible to find greater meaning and wholeness in life with reconnection to hope and joy.
Counselling provides a safe and regular space for you to talk and explore difficult feelings, helping you to deal with and overcome issues that are causing emotional pain or making you feel uncomfortable. This is helpful for healing, and supportive of new growth.
